This region has some of the most beautiful beaches in the country. You will need to be aware which ones are open to dogs, and whether thee are any restrictions - see below for more details.

Don't worry if you have forgotten anything for your four-legged friend - we have it here already. A dog towel, food/water bowl, toy and treats... just bring their food!

There are a number of dog sitting services in the area, should you decide to have a day trip, or evening out that wouldn't suit your four-legged friend. Details will be in the Welcome Pack in the property.
Rock beach is dog friendly all year round and dogs are allowed on the Black Tor ferry to Padstow. The ferryman may charge £1 return for your dog on the Padstow ferry.
Polzeath beach does not allow dogs in the holiday season from 15th May to 30th September between the hours of 10am and 6pm, but dogs are allowed at Polzeath beach at other times.
Padstow beach allows dogs all year.
Daymer Bay beach is dog friendly all year.
The South West Costal Path is dog friendly for the entire route. It's wise to keep your dog under control and you'll find some tips on the South West Coast Path website. The walk along the coast path from Rock to Polzeath is a great walk for dogs. At low tide, you can even walk along both Rock and Daymer Bay beaches
More details can be found in the Guest Welcome Pack in the property.
